.AVIATION...
(12Z TAFS)
Issued at 634 AM CDT Sun Mar 30 2025

Expect degraded flight category across all terminals as low as IFR
due to decreased CIGS and VSBY. Rain and thunderstorm activity will
be present across all terminals throughout the duration of the
day as a cold front tracks from northwest to southeast across the
state. Thunderstorm development is expected Sunday afternoon into
Sunday night. CIGS across the southeast sites will remain in MVFR
to IFR flight category for the majority of the forecast period as
a cloud deck associated with the cold front moves across the
state. Expect all sites at the surface to gust in excess of 25
knots beginning late Sunday morning and lasting through Sunday
evening. A wind shift will occur throughout the day from winds
that are predominately out of the south to winds that are
predominately out of the north- northwest behind the cold front.
Low level wind shear will be present at the terminal of KHRO for
the first few hours of the forecast period.
